Eileen Nessel Viera Eileen Nessel, 62, passed away Saturday February 5, 2011 at her home in Viera after a long ill ness. Eileen grew up in Irvington, NJ, graduated from Irvington High School in 1966, and graduated with high honors from Douglas College in 1970. She earned a Masters degree in education from Rutgers University. Eileen moved to Viera in 2004 from Edison, NJ, where she retired as a high school teacher. She assist ed her husband, Edward, in his swim coaching, and was a loving mother to three children. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Matthew, 6, and Jason, 21. She is survived by hus band, Edward; daughter, Lee of Melbourne; sisters, Debbie Golden of Somer set, NJ and Sharon Megdal of Tucson, AZ; and mother, Ann Bernstein of Somerset, NJ. She was married 38 years to Edward. The funeral was held 3 p.m. Monday, February 7, 2011 at Florida Memorial Funeral Home, 5950 South U.S. Highway 1, Rock ledge, FL 32955, with internment to follow.
