Mac served in the US Army, and after his honorable service, he resided in Melbourne, Florida where he met and married his wife, Jean of 49 years. He worked in the food industry all his life, working for Royal Castle, Dandee Bread Company, and Maryland Fried Chicken, before opening his own restaurant and catering business, Mac's Diner for over 25 years.
He was predeceased by his parents and three brothers. He is survived by his wife, Jean R. McGinnis; daughter, JoAnn Wagner (Rick); sons, Michael and Billy; daughter, Jane Wood (Matt); 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 from 2-3pm at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL, with a service to follow at 3pm. Interment with military honors will be in Florida Memorial Gardens.
