

Kristina, and grandson, Brandon. She was born May 9, 1942 in Peabody Massachusetts to the late Timothy and Portia Mavrakos, joined in a loving upbringing with her late brother, Anthony. She was the beloved wife of 58 years to the late Chris Kitsopoulos.
Elizabeth was a parishioner, Sister, matriarch and community leader. She was ever-present with optimism, consideration and love for the family and friends privileged to know her. Her journey …and her time with us was always precious.
She particularly cherished her time with her grandson, Brandon.
Elizabeth embodied a servant’s heart, with unique devotion as an ambassador and advocate for all souls in need. She carried her Greek heritage with pride and was a long standing member of the
Greek philanthropic organization Philoptochos. Her devotion to humanity also extended into her time serving the United Way and
Brevard Alzheimer’s Organization.
She belonged to the Holy Apostles Sts. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church in Haverhill, Massachusetts and St Katherine's Greek Orthodox Church, Melbourne, Florida.
Elizabeth lived a life of connection, where bonds of friends, family and culture were everlasting. She always carried herself with grace and welcomed everyone with her radiant warmth, unique wit and humor. She balanced and nourished her soul with gardening and artful painting. Hers was truly a Life well Lived….
Friends and family will be received at Dignity Life Event Center at Florida Memorial Park and Cremation Gardens, US HWY 1, Thursday, August 6th, between 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
Church services will be held on Friday, August 7th at 11:00 AM at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, 5965 N. Wickham Rd, Melbourne.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church.
