She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Ignaz and Anna Brei, and by her husband George Benedict Sr. and son George Benedict Jr.
She is survived by her daughter Juanita Taylor of Cocoa, FL, her sister Ludmilla Victoria Westling of Columbus, Mo, her niece Sylvia M. Prieschl of Lake Worth, FL, grandsons William Glasgow of Titusville, FL, Johnathon Taylor of Titusville, FL, and Austin Benedict of Bellevue, NE.
Elvira was a homemaker living in Merritt Island, Fl for over 50 years. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, and reading. She will be lovingly missed by her family and friends.
A private ceremony is being held for immediate family members at a later date.
