Florence Miserendino, 95, who resided in Rockledge, Florida for over 50 years, passed away surrounded by her family. She was born in New Jersey, the oldest of eight children. A graduate of Nursing School, she worked most of her career as a Registered Nurse. She earned a Bachelor’s degree at Florida Technological University and taught Nurse Assistants at Brevard Community College. Upon retirement, she was Professor Emeritus.
Throughout her life, “Flo” enjoyed dancing, playing cards, sewing crafts, pottery making, woodworking, and traveling. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Rockledge. Florence leaves behind her husband of 69 years, Morris. She is survived by her sons Paul, Gary, Neil, Marty, daughters-in-law Shawn and Kristi. She was blessed with three grandchildren Audrey, Dominic, Amanda and three great-grandchildren.
From her birth family, Florence is survived by her brother Joseph and sister Lillian, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
