Francis Maurice Blanchard Jr.

Frank graduated in 1953 from Granby High School in Norfolk, VA. He then entered the United States Coast Guard and served four years active duty and twenty-nine years in the Reserves. He retired in 1986 as a Commander. Frank was a lifetime member of Cape Canaveral Chapter of MOOA and Military Officers of America.

While serving our country, Frank also had a successful 36 year career with Verizon Telephone Co. (formerly GTE). Upon retirement in 1993, Frank, along with his wife Carol, moved to Viera, Florida.

He is survived by his devoted wife of sixty-one years, Carol Blanchard; his son Mark (Jan) Blanchard, daughter Judy (David) Norris; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, three step great-grandchildren; his step-sister Victoria Bell; his cousin Glenda Anderson and many friends.
