Frank was welcomed home to heaven by his Lord on August 15, 2019, surrounded by his family. His presence will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and everyone who knew him. He was a devoted husband to Anita F. Roberts Wargo for 62 years. They raised together two daughters; Barbara L. Wargo Walker and Karen E. Wargo. He was an extremely proud grandfather to Steven E. Walker and favorite granddaughter-in-law Stacy M. DeMoss Walker and son-in-law, Cecil Walker, Jr.
Frank was born on May 8, in Filbert, W.Va; to the late Joseph and Elizabeth Wargo. He told endless stories of growing up on the farm with his 12 siblings. He is survived by his two sisters; Margaret Wargo Wasilewski and Julia Wargo Blevins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Frank was predeceased by his siblings; Elizabeth Wargo Cassett, Helen Wargo Giles, Mary Wargo Williams, Joseph Wargo, Jr., George Wargo, Sue Wargo Terry, John Wargo, Anne Wargo Riffe, Michael Wargo and infant Mary Wargo.
Frank was a member of the Divine Mercy Catholic Church. After he retired from the Air Force, 22 years of service as a Tech Sergeant, he became a business owner; Frank’s Mobile Home and RV Repair. Frank was a master of all trades; he could fix anything.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 from 10-10:30am at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial with a service to follow at 10:30am. The service will be followed by lunch at his daughter’s home and then a graveside service with military honors at 2:30pm at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, FL.
