Glenn W. Ford, Sr.

Glenn Wilson Ford, Sr., 74, of Cocoa, FL, went home to be with the Lord March 1, 2010. He was born in Glencarlyn, Virginia on March 23, 1935. He moved to Brevard County in 1962 and worked at the Kennedy Space Center for 42 years and loved his work. His parents Samuel Page and Eleanor Campbell Ford preceded him in death. Also, preceding him in death were his sisters, June Schroll of New Orleans and Claire Jones of Orlando; and a brother, Samuel Ford of Youngstown, OH. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Connor Ford of Cocoa; daughters, Cheryl Ford of Orlando, Melissa (Delton) Blanchard of Garner, NC, Balinda (Adam) Mallard of Cocoa; son, Glenn W. Ford, Jr. (Wendi) of Orlando; grandchildren, Connor, Brendan, Joseph, Makenzie, Ashley, Wilson and Allison. He is also survived by sister, Shirley Bryner of Orlando and brother, Don (Laverne) Ford of Winter Haven, FL. Visitation will be Friday, March 5, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Florida Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Florida Memorial Gardens.
