Heather was born in Tampa, the second child of John Livingston and Carolyn (Flieder) Sills. In her early years, she was raised in Tampa, then attending schools in Brandon, FL. In 1997, she moved with her family to Winter Haven, FL, where she attended Winter Haven high school. In 2000, the family moved to Cocoa, FL., where Heather graduated from Cocoa High School with Honors in 2003. She attended Brevard Community College, and after 2 years was accepted to the University of Florida. She graduated from UF in 2009, where she received a B.A. degree in criminology and pre-law.
Heather's personality radiated warmth and beauty and caring, and a sharp wit. She was sensitive and tremendously generous to all her family and friends, and she will be missed deeply by everyone who knew her. Her smile was infectious and her laugh was unmistakable. How she loved to laugh! She loved to read, and devoured every book she could get her hands on. She loved to travel, and traveled whenever the opportunity arose, often with her uncles, Fletcher, Farrel, and Jody Emil Flieder. Her dream was to live in her favorite place on earth- Colorado. Heather had a huge heart; there are so many who will miss her terribly, but none more than her beloved Mother.
She is survived by her mother, Carolyn (Flieder) Sills, her step-father Dr. Ronald Sills, her father, John B. Livingston, and his wife Jana Snyder, by her beloved sister Katherine Louise Burke, by her niece and nephew Gabriella and Evan Burke, by her step-sister Jacqueline (Sills) Thompson, and her half-sister Anne-Scott Livingston, and her half-brother Jack Livingston, and her grandparents Clair Eugene Flieder and Jody Louise Flieder. She leaves many loving uncles, aunts, cousins and her beloved dog, "Kiki Marie". She leaves us to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in Heaven.
A service celebrating Heather's life will be held at the Life Center at Florida Memorial, on Wednesday, August 12, 2015. An optional viewing will be held from 1-2pm and the memorial service will start at 2pm with Pastor Norm Holm, from Calvary Chapel Melbourne officiating.
The family requests silk floral arrangements in pink and white.
