Heide Tina Grobe – Forever love – Wonderful Mother – Renaissance Woman
Heide Tina Grobe passed away very suddenly the morning of May 19, 2020. Heide was born in Livingston, New Jersey, on July 2, 1968. She grew up in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, and was educated at McGill University (BS in Neurobiology) and the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center (ND). She is survived by her husband of almost 25 years, Eric Perlman, daughters Eliana Perlman and Rachel Perlman (all of whom live in Melbourne), her parents, Cary and Sydelle Grobe, and brother, Isaac Grobe (who live in Fredericton).
Heide was many things – Eric’s partner, rock and forever love, and a wonderful mother to their children. She was funny, she was smart, she was intelligent, and she was outspoken. She was powerful, both in body and mind. She was a force of nature, loved literature and learning, and she was a feminist. She loved music, was a wonderful singer and flautist. She had sung in the Central Maryland Chorale and played in the Space Coast Flute Orchestra. She was also all about people. Making sure they were welcome. Taking care of them, and their kids. She was a nurse and case manager, and for 12 years in the Baltimore/Washington area she did acute case management, taking care of cardiac and other sick patients, both in clinics, and telephonically. When we moved to Melbourne, she continued doing case management with workers’ comp patients. Heide was also active in Temple Beth Sholom, where she was a board member for six years, doing youth activities and member activities for a number of years, always driving kids back and forth to Universal, Disney or other places for youth events, or greeting people at services or Flip Flop Shabbat She was uniquely herself, and we all loved everything about her.
Heide, you will live forever in our memories, memories that are happy and full of your love and your joy. I wish you were still here.

You don't know me, but I knew Heide when she was a young lady. Your description fits her wonderfully. It doesn't surprise me that she grew into such a terrific person. I went to school with Heide between the ages of 12 and 17 (middle school and high school) here in Fredericton, and she was always so nice, with a wonderfully intelligent sense of humor. If we had a group project, I would always try to be in her group, because she was so easy to work with, and so smart and helpful.
I'm very sorry to hear that she passed. There already aren't enough people like Heide around.
I wish your family a lot of peace and happiness.

Just heard...shocked and heart broken. She has been my husbands case worker for years and we truly grew to love her and rely on her. She would talk about her wonder life, her husband and her beloved girls that she was so proud of. My heart breaks for you all. Loved her laughter, her smiling eyes and her compassion. She will be dearly missed. Prayers for the entire family.

Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Heidi, all of my friends who knew her, always said that she was a bright, kind and caring lady. My heartfelt sympathies to Cary and Sydelle, and family.

The first choir practice with Heide attending, I sat wondering what kind of ears the in-charge people had, keeping me in her league...and she could really read the music notes and sing without listening to any audio before starting!
