

Helga was born in Andernach, Germany in 1941. She came to America in 1963 where she met her beloved husband Frank, an officer in the United States Air Force. Together, they shared a life of service, adventure, and deep devotion, living in many places across the United States and abroad, including Japan, Germany, and Belgium.
Frank’s final military assignment brought them to Washington, D.C., where Helga began a successful career in real estate, earning respect for her professionalism, warmth, and dedication. In 1991, Helga and Frank retired and settled in Melbourne, Florida, where they became active members of the Catholic community. Their faith was central to their lives, and they were deeply involved in church activities.
Helga and Frank also enjoyed an active social life in the Suntree golf community and shared a passion for travel, exploring the world together. Frank preceded Helga in death in 2016. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Hildegard, and her brother, Walter.
In 2021, Helga formed a close and cherished bond with John Phillips and his family. Together, Helga and John continued her love of travel, companionship, and creating meaningful memories filled with joy and laughter.
Helga will be remembered for her strong faith, generous spirit, love of family and friends, and her ability to form deep and lasting connections wherever life took her.
Friends and family will be received at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church for visitation at 10:00 am, followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00, and Repast at noon. Interment will be at 3:00 pm at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 S US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL 32955.
