She was born in McDonald, PA on August 20, 1924.
Hilda was very active socially and enjoyed going out with her friends. She was also was active in yoga and walking to keep herself fit.
A loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother sister and friend, she will be forever missed by her family and friends. Hilda is survived by her son James Kersten, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Ralph W Kersten; her son, Dennis Kersten and her sister Jessie Nelson.
There will be a Celebration of her life held at 10 am on Friday, January 8, 2016 at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL. Entombment will follow at Florida Memorial Gardens.
