Before retiring, she worked as a Title Clerk for Gator Chrysler, an Office Assistant at Barnett Bank, and in the cosmetology business.
She came to Brevard County in the early 1980’s from Clinton, Maryland, and was a member of the Palmdale Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her son; Michael Chapman, daughters; Wanda Chapman and Teresa Baltzey, grandchildren; Jennifer Baptie, Melissa Auclair, Day Chapman, Kristin Baltzey, and Katie Cristchlow, great grandchildren; Sarah Auclair and Justice Michael Robert Cristchlow, and siblings; Adele Strohl, William “Billy” Phillips, and Neal Phillips.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at 2pm at The Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL 32955. Interment will be in Florida Memorial Gardens.
