He will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by his wife Donna, sons David and Jack, daughter Kristy, and grandchildren Lilly, Logan Kensei, Taylor, and his many friends.
Jack was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania and brought to Florida by his parents Homer and Jean Miller when he was a small boy for his health and remained in Florida for most of his life. Jack had a passion for spending time on the water and specifically loved fishing. His passion is shared by his sons, who are avid outdoors men. The skillsets taught will be carried on through tradition for generations to come.
During his twenty-two years supporting the Coast Guard, the Auxiliary, and the boating public, Jack logged over 15,758 Auxiliary hours. On the water, he ran boat crews and performed 1,798 hours patrolling our local waterways and he personally saved seven lives. Jack was an exceptional leader, and he served as the Southeast District Director of Operations.
A graveside service will be held on 30 October 2025 at 4:00 pm in Serenity at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 U.S. Route 1, Rockledge, FL 32955. See the attached map. The grave site is located near the railroad tracks, next to his mother and farther, where he will be laid for eternal rest.
