Jack is survived by his wife Laura who adored him, loved by his children, William (III), Cyndi, Tina, Tony, Ty, and Tifton, and will be missed by his grandchildren that he loved to mentor.
Jack was a larger than life man who touched many lives, from his combat heroism as a U.S. Marine in Vietnam, to his esteemed careers as a Chief of Police and Public Safety Director in SC and GA, Public Safety Director with Brevard Public Schools, DCF Circuit Administrator, Ombudsman State Council Rep., FDLE Missing Children Advisory Board Member, SCCU Board Member, Brevard County Historical Commissioner, and University Instructor. But it was his day to day interactions that Jack will be most remembered for…no one who ever met him…could ever forget him.
