Janet Lee Pearson relocated to Heaven Wednesday, June 20, 2012. Born Friday the 13th, July, 1945 in Wellesley, Massachusetts to Charles and Gertrude Schafer, Jan moved to Florida in the late 1950's.
She met her husband, Dan, October 31, 1961, in Orlando, Fla. Taking the "til death do us part" vow seriously, together they reared four sons, Don, Drew, James and Aaron.
Jan graduated Brevard Community College, worked tirelessly in bookkeeping and income tax preparation, but truly joyed in sharing the love of the Lord Jesus Christ with anyone she met. She taught third grade Sunday school for decades where she relayed the gospel of Jesus to many.
She displayed true generosity and helpfulness worthy of imitation, was not afraid of hard work, studied long, and prayed for those she loved with all her might.
Memorial service will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 24, 2012, at First Baptist Church Merritt Island, Florida in the chapel following church service.
