Jason Tate Smith

Born in Bakersfield, California, Jason moved to Brevard County in 1990 after living in Texas. He built a long and respected career as a professional car salesman, most recently working with Boniface Hiers Automotive Group, where he was known for his easygoing nature, dedication, and genuine care for the people he served. He took great pride in helping customers find their “unicorn car,” always going the extra mile to make sure they left with something that truly fit them.

Jason is survived by his wife, Leigh, his daughter Sophia, his parents Larry and Rita, and his brother Brandon.

He will be remembered for his devotion to his family and the joy he found in being a husband and father. Jason had a gift for making life fun, he was the life of every party and always the first to dance. He loved surprising people with thoughtful gifts, especially sports cards from their favorite teams, just to show he was thinking of them. At home, he cherished simple comforts: a home cooked meal, time spent relaxing in his pool, and the warmth of being surrounded by the people he loved.

All who knew JT are invited to attend the service in celebration of his life. A funeral service will be held on March 29, 2026 at 1:00 pm at The Life Event Center at Florida Memorial in Rockledge, Florida, 5950 US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL 32955.
