Jean W Gayle

She was predeceased by her husband John B. Gayle, parents Bess Wallace and Elmer Wallace, daughter Jacquelyn Edgmon, and sister Martha Schuster.

Mrs. Gayle received her B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Alabama. She worked in the field of medical technology, taught at the University of Alabama, and taught in the public schools of Alabama and Florida. She was an expert in the field of Genealogy and published a book Six Wallace Brothers about her forbears. She enjoyed singing in the church choir.

Her survivors include sister, Lucy Trautmann, daughters, Barbara Gayle and Sandra Gayle, nieces, Paula Rice, and Carla Roth, nephews, Eric Schuster, Lee Schuster , and Paul Schuster, granddaughters ,Christine Sirkhan and Laura Burden, and a host of great nieces, great nephews, and great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at Florida Memorial Gardens 5950 South US1 Rockledge, FL 32995, on Saturday, August 16, 2014. Viewing at 2:00 p.m. followed by service.
