Jeffrey Battell

Jeff Battell was first and foremost a Papa to his 5 grandchildren, Jasmine, Kyle, Sierra, Farah, and Reese. He was a loving and devoted father to Amber Fowler and his 2 stepsons, Michael and Joe Burton. He was son to James Battell and brother to Gary Battell. He referred to his wife, Teresa, as the love of his life and best friend. He had too many nieces and nephews to even list. But, he loved each and every one of them; and they knew it. Jeff was a master of woodwork and carpentry. His hands were magical. He graduated from Cocoa High School in 1972 and was a Brevard resident for over 55 years. He was an avid bowler (225 average), tennis player, and surfer. Actually, he was a natural athlete. He never made one enemy in his entire life. He was truly one loved and honored individual. He will be missed by so many and forever remembered. This earth has lost a genuinely kind and selfless person. A Celebration of Life is being held on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at the Brevard County Professional Firefighters Union Hall at 571 Haverty Court, Suite N, in Rockledge, Florida.
