

John, who was known as Jack, was born to Dellis and Florence (Pelton) Beeson, on Oct. 30, 1924, in Fostoria. He was married to Renee (Janin) Beeson for 67 years before her death.
Jack is survived by his son, William (Benedicte) Beeson of Paris, France; daughter, Nancy (Beeson) Green of Melbourne, Fla.; grandchildren, Anthony (Peggy) Green of Carmel, Ind., Chadd (Leeanne) Green of New Albany, Ohio, Janin (Chuck) Miller of Bay Village, Ohio, and Clotilde (Sebastian) Gicquel of Paris; great-grandchildren, Madeleine, Anthony, and Elisabeth Green, Spencer, Griffin, and Brenna Green, Colton and Dawson Miller, and Roxanne and Victoria Gicquel.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Jim and Jean Beeson; and his sister, Mary Ann Lowmaster.
Jack graduated from Fostoria High School in 1942, and joined the U.S. Army. During his service, he was sent to Europe where he worked in a Reconnaissance Unit as a draftsman for the anti-aircraft positions around Paris. During this period, he met his wife, Renee, and they married in November of 1945.
He became a Tool and Die Maker at Autolite, and retired after 30 years from Ford Motor Company. In his retirement, he was kept occupied by building and remodeling homes. In his later years, he scaled down his building to dollhouses, doll furniture, and forts.
He was a 32nd Degree Mason and was involved with the Shriners at the Fostoria Temple. Because he was a World War II vet, he and 24 other vets traveled on the Honor Flight to Washington DC.
A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 13,2016 at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial , 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in memory of John E. Beeson, to the Wounded Warrior Project, or to the Shriner’s Hospital.
