He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Judith, his children Allison (Lee) and Adam (Sera), and his grandchildren Ava, Rocco, Johnny, Aubrey, and Mia as well as many in-laws and nieces and nephews.
John was born in Yonkers, NY and moved to Greenwich, CT in 1972 where he lived until 2020. He was a well known architect who got his start with I.M. Pei and Philip Johnson. He was fortunate enough to be able to work with them on many international projects. He later owned his own company, John F. Cremona Consultants and designed many homes in Connecticut including his own in backcountry Greenwich.
On any given Saturday you could find him cheering for his alma mater, Syracuse University, unless of course there was a Yankees game on. His favorite thing in the world was spending time with his family and friends around the kitchen table talking, unless of course there was a Yankees game on.
John will be remembered in a private service in Melbourne, Florida.
In lieu of flowers please give a stranger, whether it be a cashier, server, or your flight attendant, an extra few minutes of your time. John had the rare ability to make everyone he met feel seen and heard. Truly, he never met a stranger.
