

Johnny Lee Dixon Sr, was born in Melbourne, FL to the late John Dixon and Pearl Oliver-Dixon. He was a life long resident of Brevard County. Johnny was educated through the Brevard County school system & graduated from Melbourne High School, Class of 76.
After graduating from high school, Johnny started working with the Brevard County School Board, he started out with the maintenance department, and after 10 years, he changed positions and became a custodian at University Park Elementary School. He officially retired from the school board in November of 2012. Being the hard working man that he was, he became self employed in lawn care.
On January 8, 2010, Johnny married his loving wife, Contena Dixon. Johnny was an active member and served on the Security Team, at New Shiloh Christian Center, pastored by his classmate, Bishop Jacquelyn Gordon.
Johnny left us unexpectedly, on the morning of Friday August 20, 2021.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Contena Dixon, three sons, Johnny Dixon Jr. of Melbourne, FL., Shandarious Clayton and Spencer Smith of Orlando, FL. two daughters, Shaundree Dixon of Melbourne, FL and Charnette Bloomer of Lawrenceville, Ga. one brother, Kelvin (Kathy) Williams of Palm Bay, FL. four sisters, Trellie Mae Gore of Eau Gallie FL., Rosie (George) Hagans of Melbourne, FL., Mary Dixon and Blanche Dixon of Palm Bay, FL., two brothers in love, Tyrone (Carla) Smith of Orlando, FL., James (Elizabeth) Jones of Denton, Tx., three sisters in love, Arlena Bass of Jacksonville, FL., Angela Williams of Dallas, TX., and Janice Jones of Orlando, FL., three grandchildren, Ja'sya Dixon, Ja'Liziyah Dixon & A'mari Berkley, two goddaughters, Mi-Destinee Little & Ja'laysia Riley and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in laws and friends.
Johnny was proceeded in death by his older brother, Levi Oliver & his grandson, Jaxynn Long.
