He was a long time resident of Brevard County and was a member of the first graduating class of Satellite Beach High School.
He Served in Vietnam Delta Company 1st Battalion 26th Marines where he was honored with 2 Purple Hearts and a Silver Star.
He was co-owner of Outlaw and Rice Engineering and Coastal Construction.
John was a devoted father and friend and is loved by many. He was surrounded by his family and love in his last days. He is survived by his daughters Michelle Braun, Heather Rice, and Allison Jenkins; his four granddaughters Morgan Armstrong, Alexis Braun, Olivia Braun, Sophia Braun, sister Gwen Winner, many nieces and nephews and companion Dotty Dieffenderfer.
There will be a celebration of life held on Sunday, June 17, 2018 from 3-6pm at Pappagallo’s Restaurant, 1769 Route A1A Satellite Beach, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Johnny’s name to Health First Hospice.
