Josephine M Culp

She attended St. Mary's Business School and worked for J.L. Blaney Insurance Company in Buffalo, NY. She also worked for her husband's pharmacy, Woodell Drugs, as a bookkeeper and a buyer for their Gift Gallery.

She grew up in Carpino, Italy until her mother died at a young age. She then traveled to America with her brother, Vic as her cousin adopted them. After about five years, she met her husband, Ronald F. Culp. They lived mostly in Tonawanda, NY for over 35 years. In 1999 they moved to Rockledge, FL to be near their children. She loved her family very much and was a true Italian mother, always wanting to feed everyone.

She loved her hometown of Buffalo, NY and was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills.

She is survived by daughters: Daryl and Renee of Melbourne, FL; Theresa Backes (John) of Melbourne, FL; sons: Randall (Barbara) of Charlottesville, VA and Timothy (Staci) of Viera, FL; five grandchildren: Casey (Diana); Dayna, Garrett, Patrick (Aiko) and Ryan; one great grandson, Caden Ryan; brothers: Victor (Nilsa) Draicchio Pariso; Domenic (Angela) Draicchio; Louis (Patti) Pariso; Michael (Pam) Pariso; Tonino (Lina) Draicchio and sister, Teresa Draicchio Troiano.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Ronald F. Culp; mother, Maria Libera Draicchio (nee Sacco); father, Luigi Draicchio; adopted mother Jean (nee Giangulano) Pariso; adopted father, Angelo Pariso; and brother, Biagio (Maria) Draicchio.

A memorial service and reception will be held August 8, 2026 from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 S US Hwy 1, Rockledge, FL 32955. Friends and family may share memories and sign the guest book online at www.floridamemorialfh-gardens.com.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favorite charity. Some of mom's favorites were St. Jude, Boys Town and Samaritin's Purse.
