Karen will be remembered for her cheerful, energetic personality and happy smile. She is survived by her sisters and their families. Karen was sister to Norva Anderson (Don), Linda Ophoff (Tim), Becky Sims (Gene) and Sara Sakowski (Gary). She was pre-deceased by her parents Andy and Eleanor Anderson and her oldest sister, Mary Linehan. Karen is also survived by her many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Born in Waynesville, Missouri in 1942, Karen and her family moved to Florida in the early 1960s. Karen enjoyed traveling with her parents, holidays, watching football, bowling and working on jigsaw puzzles. She was a long-time member of the Methodist Church.
She recently received loving care from St. Francis Hospice and Viera Del Mar Health and Rehabilitation Center.
