I have been trying to find the words to express my grief. Kathy was an amazing woman, friend, mother, grandmother, nurse, caregiver. The world has lost an amazing woman and heaven has gained one. She will be missed by so many whose lives she has touched. Her memories live on in her husband, children, grandchildren, extended family, coworkers, and patients. May her memory be a blessing.

Kathy,
You were and always will be one of a kind. I enjoyed being your hairstylist at Tops before I moved away, and I will always remember your laugh and friendship. You gave me sound advice that I will always remember. Many prayers for your family.

Kathy, you are truly one of a kind, along with your wonderful family. I had no idea you were ill and am so sorry. My heart hurt when I read this. I remember being in your's and Dan's wedding, June 13. Forgot the year. Although I truly believe there was love for you as for myself even though our paths didn't cross much. Your whole family is delightful and special. Please know that whatever happened to you that you have eternal peace forever. Heaven gained one of the best nurses (one of the many in her family and those we worked with). My sincere sympathy to all of your family. I wish you peace. Karen Gast-Brochard (retired RN).

Rich and I are absolutely heartbroken at this tremendous loss. Rich always thought of Kathy as a fabulous nurse and thought the world of her and Dan. On several occasions she cared for both of us. We are just so heartbroken for the family and the world will be a much sadder place without her.
