

Kathy A. Mokson, age 76, passed away at Holmes Regional Medical Center, Melbourne, FL. Born in 1945 in Jamaica Queens, New York. She raised a family on Long Island, in Rocky Point, and worked as a bank bookkeeper at Suffolk County National Bank. Kathy retired and moved to Viera, Florida in April 2001.
She was survived by her daughter and son in law, Darlene Mokson-Davis and Jeffrey Davis of Goshen, Ohio; son and daughter in law, Michael and Kathleen F. Mokson of Wantage, New Jersey; grandchildren, Alexander (17) and Alyssa (10) Davis of Goshen, Ohio, Corey (6) and Lorelai (4) Mokson of Wantage, Ohio; sister, Nathalie Alenski of Riverhead, New York, sisters in law, Maureen Alenski of Viera, Florida, Karen Alenski of Hernando Beach, Florida; nephews: Jeffery Alenski of Holbrook, New York, Andrew Alenski of Renton, Washington and John T. Alenski of Farmingville, New York.
Kathy was predeceased by her loving parents Joseph and Stephanie Alenski and by her brothers, Joseph, Stephen, and Kenneth Alenski.
She was a spirited, loving sister, mother, and grandmother who had a smile that could light up any room. She would always lend a hand to help anyone that needed it. She loved to be involved and be part of any fun event that came along. She never shied away from the spotlight and was eager to join in on any game or activity, especially penny slots. Kathy treasured time with her family and enjoyed traveling, especially cruises. Even in retirement, she continued to utilize her bookkeeping skills as a recorder for the Ladies of the Moose and most recently as a treasurer for the Resident Council at Glenbrooke Assisted Living.
Friends and family are invited to a brief graveside service at Florida Memorial Gardens (5950 US-1, Rockledge, FL 32955) on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers, donations to either the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association would be appreciated.
