Lea Joan "Joann" Cesare

Lea Joan “Joann” Cesare passed from this life on Saturday, March 11, 2023, in Satellite Beach, at the age of 86, surrounded by her children. Joann was predeceased by her husband, Donald E. Cesare, her parents, Henry “Hank” and Lillian Bartle, her five sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her children, Terri (Mike) Arnold of Satellite Beach, Bart (Gina) Cesare of Cocoa, and Sandra (David) Rintelmann of Cocoa. Grandchildren, Dr. Rachel (Caleb) Williams, Jacob Faubion, Sarah Stanifer, Dr. Michael (Elizabeth) Arnold, and Jamie (Travis) Belflower. Beloved Granny to great-grandchildren, Nola, Nora, Wyatt, Garland, and Billy, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Joann and Don came to Cocoa on their honeymoon in February of 1958 to visit Don’s best friend, Bill (Gayle) Harris. While here, they applied for and were hired by companies at Kennedy Space Center, Joann being hired at PanAm. She became a stay-at-home mom for several years after her children were born, then eventually worked for the Supervisor of Elections Office, first at the Rockledge Courthouse, and then at the Merritt Island Courthouse. She retired as Manager in 1998. Friends and family will be received at Florida Memorial Gardens Life Event Center (5950 S. US-1, Rockledge, FL) on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 10:00am. The Celebration of Life will begin at 10:30am with interment and reception to follow.
