Lorraine L. Garcia, 92, of Cocoa, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Island Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on October 18, 1918 in Plattsburg, NY to Alfred and Elsie Varno LaValley.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Oris Garcia; son, Charles A. Garcia, Sr.; great-grandson, Tyler Garcia; brother, Rodney LaValley; and a sister, Cindy.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Evelyn E. Garcia; grandchildren, Shaun, Rachel, and Charles (CJ) Garcia; great-grandchildren, Carlos and Christopher Garcia; sister, Virginia Ellsworth; niece, Nancy Yarbrough; and other family members.
There will be a private memorial celebration held in early June.
