

Lorraine is survived by her husband of 54 years Nicholas, her children Michael (Sue), Mary (Eric), Nicky, Jr. (Rita) and Leigh Ann Thomes (Steve) her grandchildren Miranda,Tony, David, Jeffrey, Madelyn, Carson and Abigail.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her mother and father Frank and Carmena Parise of Wilkes Barre, PA and her sister Mary Notar of North Syracuse, NY
Lorraine attended business school and was a medical receptionist. Later she was employed at J. C. Penny. She married Nick in 1956, they were fortunate to make friends all over the country. They lived in New York, Virginia, California and Nebraska, once they moved to Florida in 1957, they knew they were home. Nick and Lorraine settled in Merritt Island and have lived there 54 years.
Not only was Lorraine a loving wife and mother she was a grandmother who loved to spoil her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing with them, taking them places and having them spend the night. She will also be remembered for making them promise not to tell mom and dad how much candy she let them eat.
Family meant everything to Lorraine she dedicated her life to her husband and family. Lorraine wanted the most and best for her husband and children and did whatever she could to give it to them.
Lorraine will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. Her generosity, great sense of humor and her reputation for being a fabulous cook will never be forgotten.
Calling hours will be from 6-8pm on Wednesday, May 4 at Florida Memorial Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10am on Thursday, May 5 at Divine Mercy Catholic Church. Interment will be at Florida Memorial Gardens.
