Marie Ellen Dye

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Kirk Yates (Amy) and Karen Waters (Ralph); daughter in-law, Christina Yates; step children, Ronald Dye, Damon Dye, Angie Dye, Michael Dye, and Chandra Dye; grandchildren, Michael Yates (Tiffany), Katharine Cabrera (Bruno), Amanda Schade (James), Dominique Almanza (Jake), Steven Waters, James Waters, and Conor Yates; great grandchildren, Jack Yates, Aubrey Yates, Trevor Yates, Brady Cabrera, Claire Schade, Henry Almanza, James Schade III, and Kensley Cabrera; sister, Shirley Harris; sister-in-law, Sharon Coleman; as well as numerous relatives and friends, Judy & Jason, Souzan & Adel, Mary, Barbara and Jessica.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Dye; son, Keith Yates; sister, Lillie Taylor; brothers, John Coleman and James Coleman; and her parents, James and Minnie Coleman.

Marie was born in Tazewell County, Virginia. She grew up in Richlands, Virginia. Graduated from Richlands High School, Class of 1956. She moved to the Melbourne area in the early 1960s. She worked for AAFES and then as a Bank Teller. She worked at numerous banks in the Melbourne Area, eventually retiring as a Vice President.

A Graveside Service will be held at Florida Memorial Gardens for family and friends on October 9, 2023 at 10AM. A private viewing will be at 9:30AM prior to the service.
