Marie Gladney

GLADNEY, Marie W., (102) of Lakeland, previously of Rockledge, passed away on July 16th, 2026. Marie was born December 11th, 1923 to Edward and Alma Ulch. Marie was raised in Ohio. In 1940 she married Homer C. Gladney. Together they raised five (5) children and two (2) grandchildren, owned a successful business and enjoyed traveling. They relocated to Florida in the 1990's, where they enjoyed retirement. In 1990, Homer and Marie celebrated fifty (50) years of marriage. Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Homer, son, Donald, daughter-in-law, Norma and several sisters and brothers. She is survived by her children, Sharon, Shirley (Ron-deceased), Richard and William (Henriette), twelve (12) grandchildren, twenty (20) great-grandchildren and thirty (30) great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 South US Highway 1 Rockledge, FL 32955 on Wednesday July 22nd, 2026 at 2:00pm. Internment with Homer on Thursday, July 23rd, 2026 at Florida Memorial Gardens, at 2:00pm, with a small reception following.
