Marilyn was my older sister for 82 years. She always looked out for me and my twin sister. Joan. She and I played many games together. We always had a lot of fun. We played MahJongg, Bunco, Scrabble, Rummy Cube, LR&C. Hand and Foot, etc. We had a lot of laughs and always enjoyed chocolate as we played our games. We also vacationed together with our husbands after retirement. We were a very close family, and I will always be thankful that she was my sister. I'll miss her forever.

I will always look back fondly at our childhood visits to Florida when we would visit Aunt Marilyn and Uncle Eddie and how happy it was to enjoy good food, games and laughs. It became a highlight of our trips and that’s saying something for a kid going to Disney and Universal! I raise a chocolate chip cookie in your honor and in true tribute, eye a second and a third.

So sad about this loss. When I think of Aunt Marilyn, I think of mashed potatoes, Scrabble, chocolate & the constant presence of family. She will be missed greatly. I'm comforted knowing of the epic Scrabble games that are happening in heaven at this moment.

Dearest Mom,

You were right when you said I received any good Christian values from you. You continually demonstrated kindness and love for family, friends and even strangers, has directed us to have compassion towards our fellow man. Your dedicated selflessness towards your children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren will be our cherished memories for all time.

Even though we miss you and Dad, we take solace in your being with him and Our Lord Jesus Christ. Give Dad a hug for us

Love,
Timmy

Heartbroken at the loss of my second mother. Aunt Mom Moms I called her when I was a kid. Always part of every holiday till she moved to Florida. So many happy memories visiting her and Uncle Eddie in Florida. There for me in happy times and sad times. A fellow chocolate lover. The best cook of roast beef and pork roasts. Always up for an Oreo even after breakfast. Always reaching out to me after I became a widow sharing her advice and experience being a caretaker to a sick husband. Still can hear her voice. I will love and miss you forever!

It will be difficult to live in a world that doesn’t include my aunt Marilyn. She has been a part of my life since I was born. My second mother, my mom and my aunts’ best friend. My kids grew up loving her as much as I did and Craig loved her as his aunt. Together we’ve shared so many good times together and I have wonderful memories of playing Scrabble with her and raiding her refrigerator for Oreos and Mallomars. The holidays we shared together were magical and I grew up thinking that everybody had a family like mine. It was only when I got older that I realized how blessed we were to have each other. At this sad time I’m comforted in the knowledge that she’s reunited with my mom, Uncle Eddie, Grandma and her Dad as well as all of the other relatives and friends who were blessed to be a part of her life that have gone on before her. Rest in peace, my beautiful aunt. I will miss the phone calls and hearing your voice. But I will remember you always with so much love. ❤️

I will miss my grandmother so much. I was blessed to spend many summers with her and my grandfather going on road trips, playing Scrabble, lounging at the pool, and shopping. She taught me so much and I treasure all the time we had xoxo

To the Family ...
My heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your loved one. Marilyn was a sweet and thoughtful lady and she will remain in my heart forever.
With Love,
Holly
