Mark Roger Meunier

Always willing to lend a hand or a compassionate ear, he will be remembered and greatly missed by the many people whose lives he touched.

Born on March 02, 1960, in Troy, New York. He lived the majority of his life in Duval and Brevard Counties of Florida. He spent his youth in Jacksonville, FL, graduating proudly from Nathan Bedford Forrest High School on the west side of town. Mark later graduated from Brevard Community College. A dedicated professional, Mark spent over 35 years supporting the space industry, working at the Kennedy Space Center and the local area.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Mark enjoyed wrestling, golf, soccer, softball, and football in all capacities as a participant, referee, and a fan throughout his life. He was a longtime supporter of the Florida Gators, Montreal Canadiens, and Dallas Cowboys. If there was a game on, chances were, Mark was watching it. He also had a fond heart for watching horse racing, specifically from the Saratoga racetrack in New York.

Mark was also an avid fisherman and loved finding isolated lakes and ponds to catch more than his share of largemouth bass.

After retiring 6 years ago, Mark continued to expand his hobbies and interests. Always curious about new technology, building, fixing and just tinkering. Those who knew him will miss all his passionate discussions and the world will unfortunately have many problems left unsolved.

Preceded in death by his immediate family: Mother, Jane F. Meunier (Gardener), Father Joseph R. Meunier, and brother Kevin P. Meunier.

His interment will be held at the Chapel of Peace at Florida Memorial Gardens on October 10th at 11am, 5950 south US-1, Rockledge, FL 32955.
