Mary C. Cahill

Mary will be lovingly remembered and cherished by her husband of 30 years Len Cahill. She was a beloved mother to her son James Ortiz his wife Cristi Ortiz and her two grandchildren, James, Jr. and Dante whom she loved unconditionally. She also had a stepson, Andrew who she helped raise since the age of 14. Mary had two stepdaughters, Julie and Laurie and five step grandchildren, Laura, Eric, Zachary, Katie-Lynn, and Sophie Marie.

She was born into a large family with 3 sisters and 5 brothers where she was the matriarch of her sisters. Surviving Mary are her siblings; Gloria Cook, Patrick Romero, Elaine Pacheo, Danny (Charlotte) Romero, Steven Romero , Marcella (Richard) Serge, David (Felice) Romero and Joe Romero. She had a large family of sister in laws and brother in laws and extended nieces and nephews. We loved our sister dearly and she will hold a special place for her in our hearts. We will forever cherish the memories we made together.

Mary was a beloved soul with many friends she made through the VFW and the Red Hats Society. She enjoyed being around friends and family sharing in laughter with them. Mary had a wonderful laugh that was contagious to all of us around her.

She loved to play games such as "Show me the money" as well as going to the casino with her sisters.

Mary was sweet and kind, and truly loving person who will be remembered forever and greatly missed by all. We will forever miss Mary's laughter, amazing cooking, and her heart of gold.

May God bless Mary forever in our hearts. Rest in peace.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, November 14, 2025 at 11am at the Blessed Sacrament Church, 5135 North Cocoa Blvd, Cocoa, Florida.
