I did not know Matt, but I do know his beautiful sister, Kelly and nephews, Brian and Chris. This I do know, he was much loved and will be missed. May the beautiful memories you all share keep his spirit and beautiful smile alive, and may you continue to feel blessed having had him in your lives.

I loved my Son-in-Law very much. He and I shared many interests and many hours. Both being ordained Baptist deacons, we shared a love for Jesus and the service to His church and ministries. During his last years, Matt spent many hours in medical facilities to which I was able to transport him and have long conversations in transit and waiting rooms. I will miss Matt but rejoice in the fact that we know he is in Heaven with Jesus and his daughter

I met Matt many years ago when he was a patient at the clinic where I worked. He was one of those patients that became dear to us. No matter how tough things were he forged on and made things better. When we discovered he had married our friend Suzanne we were delighted for them both. The time they had together was just way too short. May he rest in peace.
