I will always hold space in my heart for Mike. So grateful for the years our lives intersected, when we were young and figuring out how to be. A real good dude. Easy and kind. Oh, to lie on the trampoline one more time and watch the clouds.

In high school, there was never a single person he wasn’t kind to. It was so obvious he had a big heart. He was my first crush because of that kindness and then became an amazing friend. We shared few but meaningful memories. Throughout the years we kept up with each other on social media and he was nothing but the same kind, sweet, respectful man I knew him to be when we were teens. I regret never getting that cup of coffee to catch up. I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope you get many messages sharing what impact he made to people all around him

Leeana gave us matching stickers that day because "you love each other so you should match" 
She was so happy to wake up and go on an Easter egg hunt with you that morning. You played Santa, the Easter bunny,  trick or treat partner, and everything in between. Her love and adoration for you was everything.

Michael - you were a father figure to Leeana and even more importantly you were her best friend. You taught her so many lessons and shared so many adventures, I can never thank you enough for loving us both the way you did.
She looks up to you. You are funny, loving, and full of life. She wants you to know that "shes ze captain now", but if you could still keep a close watch over her, I will be forever grateful.
We will always love you and cherish our memories together

I already miss tracking down your socks, cooking together in our kitchen, and blaring every genre through our speakers. I would give the world to laugh at one of your cheesy jokes one more time. You saw my soul and loved me to my core. You opened my eyes to a view of myself I'd never seen and made me slow down in a world that never stopped spinning. You are truly one of the funniest and most caring humans I've ever met and we were blessed to have you complete our family. Leeana and I are both still waiting for you to pull up in our driveway so she can run up to you and hug your leg, but I know you're watching over all of us. We will miss every big adventure and more so every little moment. I love you with everything that I have. Rest easy handsome 🖤

You taught Leeana how to ride a bike, set her up for the best at home dance parties, made sure we always had an adventure ready - whether it be the beach, a safari ride, watching the spaceships, fishing or boating - and always complete with snacks. You were her grown up best friend. Thank you for sharing some of my best parenting adventures.

To Mike's family you won't know me but I knew Mike in school, he was always a good guy no matter the people he was around he was kind to everyone.
One memory I have was learning to skateboard on his old wood mini ramp out back of his house those were some long nights and fun summers...Rip Mike see ya soon man

So terribly sorry for your loss.  I had the good fortune to meet Michael - such a nice young man.  May god bless and keep him always.

With less than 6 months on, thank you for showing me everything you knew from my first day in the field at Station 30, until transferring to Station 72.

Thank you for letting me have the nozzle on my first car fire.

This breaks my heart.  I am so saddened for Mike’s family.  
He was a great neighbor and we loved him.

I was fortunate enough to meet Mike during a transitional phase in my life. We made countless memories between paddle boarding, driving around Taveres, hanging out by the water, sharing our love for music and talking for hours.  He could make me laugh like no other, and one of the most thoughtful and selfless people I have met. Mike holds a special place in my heart and I am so grateful to have known him. 

Sending all my love to your family. Rest easy Mike, I will miss you terribly.

You have brought so much light into my life. We were so lucky to get to spend each moment around that infectious smile, quick wit, and kind perception you had of the world. You led by example so many times, and even though you were a few years younger than most, we all looked up to you. I’ve always been so proud to call you a best friend. And I always will be.  I love you.

Cook was such an awesome friend to have. He always lived life to the fullest and was a truly talented guy. I was lucky enough to spend quite a bit of time with him between riding the trails out at santos, hanging on the canal, and just goofing off in general. He brought good vibes every time we hung out. He was so humble and never took himself too seriously. I’m going to miss you so much buddy.
