Mike was everything to his mother and all she could have hoped for in a son. He was smart, ambitious, loving and kind. He used his strength to protect others. He was looked up to by everyone, both in physical stature and in moral character. Mike always said that he believed God made him the gentle giant that he was, so he could protect people, and indeed he did.
Mike dreamt of following in his Uncles’ footsteps by joining the Rockledge Police Department where he was currently employed as a Public Safety Telecommunicator. Mike loved everyone at the RPD family and was so honored to be a part of them. The day he was given his RPD Badge #, was one of the proudest days of his life.
During his years at Rockledge Regional Hospital his duty was to protect the Staff, and all who entered. Mike not only worked for Rockledge Regional, but he loved them all dearly, and considered them family.
He was passionate, not only about life in general, but in sports. Especially his beloved Dallas Cowboys, and Miami Hurricanes. He leaves behind a void that can never be replaced. But he leaves a legacy that will carry on to impact the community for years to come.
Friends and family will gather at McLarty Stadium in Rockledge on Sunday, September 26, 2021 for his Celebration of Life, beginning at 6:00PM. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.FloridaMemorialFH-Gardens.com for Michael's Family.
