Michael A. Gradone, Sr.

Michael A. Gradone, Sr., 83 of Palm Bay, Florida, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, husband, and uncle went home to be with the Lord and re-unite with his beloved wife, Anna Marie on August 31, 2014. Michael passed away peacefully at William Childs Hospice House. Michael was born on September 27, 1930 in Newark, New Jersey to Donato and Filomena Gradone.

Michael enlisted into the Army on October 3, 1947. During his duty assignment in Osaka, Japan, he awarded the "Army of Occupation Medal of Japan" from HQ DET 8th Army Personnel Processing Center. He was honorably discharged as PFC Gradone on June 13, 1950.

On June 14, 1952, Michael was married to Anna M. Tortoriello in Saint Lucy's Church in Newark, New Jersey. Michael and Anna loved to travel. Michael's favorite type of vacation was taking cruises. He loved the smell of the ocean air and being pampered.

Michael is survived by daughter, Carol Kueppers; son, Michael Gradone Jr., and grandchildren, Jeffrey Kueppers, Jennifer Kueppers, and Jarrett Gradone; and great-grandchild, Adrianna Kueppers.

Michael was preceded in death by his brothers, Anthony, Carmine, & Peter Gradone; and his sisters, Nancy Gradone, and Rose Palameri. His surviving brothers are Gerard, and Samuel Gradone of New Jersey.
