Michael B McGrew

Mike grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, where he attended Middleburg High School and ultimately graduated from Orange Park High School. After graduation, Mike joined the US Navy, where he served honorably for over 12 years.

He married his high school sweetheart in 2003 and they created a beautiful life together. Mike enjoyed fishing, golfing, baseball and spending time with his dog, Sandy. Mike was a movie buff and an excellent poker player. He also loved vacationing with his family in the mountains, relaxing at the beach and cheering on the Florida State Seminoles.

Mike was a devoted husband, father, son and brother. He is survived by his wife, Nicole McGrew; children, Nolan, 20, Savannah, 9 and Connor, 6; mother, Debbie McGrew; sister, Marilyn Prcic; niece and nephew, Kaylee and Aleks Prcic. He was preceded in death by his father, Marty McGrew.

Memorial calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2014 from 3-4 PM immediately followed by a memorial service with military honors, all of which will be held at The Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 US HWY 1, Rockledge, FL 32955.
