Mildred Strickland Skinner, age 86, of Melbourne, FL passed away on May 2, 2019. Born in Winter Haven, FL, and graduated from Winter Haven High School. Millie came to Brevard County in 2000 from Homosassa, FL working for Eastern Airlines as an airline stewardess, for over 30 years. This allowed her to travel the world and take her mother to other countries.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Skinner; mother, Minnie Strickland; father, Preston Strickland; sister, Dorothy Podstupka; brothers, Quinford, Talmadge and Fulton. Her survivors include sisters, Gladys Strickland and Glinnis Biggs (Harold); niece, Cynthia Heiser (Mark); nephews, Dean Podstupka, Roland and Marty Strickland; step children, Caryn McAnlis (Scott), Phil Skinner and Kirk Skinner.
Millie was a member of the Suntree Country Club.
Final resting place for Millie is in the Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL.
