Nicholas 'John' Kateb, 50, passed away on November 22, 2023, after a courageous and valiant battle with cancer. Despite facing the challenges of his illness, he continued to inspire those around him with his determination, positive spirit, and enduring love for life.
John is survived by his wife, Kelly, children Stephanie and Korrin, Mother Janet Schill [Larry], Stepmother Claire, brother Marc [LeeAnn], and niece and nephews, Matthew, Abi, and Alex. John will be deeply missed by his family and friends, who cherished the moments of joy, laughter, and love that he shared with them.
He is predeceased by his father, Nicholas John Kateb Sr.
A funeral service for Nicholas will be held Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Calvary Chapel Melbourne, 2955 Minton Road, West Melbourne, Florida. Following the funeral service will be a graveside committal service at 2:30 PM at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, Florida. The family welcomes friends and well-wishers to join in celebrating John's life and paying tribute to the strength that defined his journey.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Palm Bay Firefighters Community Benevolent and Health First's Hospice Program in John's memory. Condolences may be sent to 295 Datura Drive, Indian Harbour Beach, FL 32937.
