

Norman was surrounded by his family during his last days. He was a devoted father and caregiver and he provided love and kindness to those around him.
Norman was born on July 24, 1937 in Iron River, Wisconsin to Marvin and Elsie Fields.
Around 1959, Norman and his wife Barbara moved to Zephyrhills, FL where Norman began his career working at a cancer institute and Zephyrhills Water as a chemist for water purity. In 1961, Norman and Barbara were blessed with their first son, James. In 1962, their second son Christopher joined the family. Christopher passed away in 2015 after a brief illness.
After starting their family, Norman's career furthered when they moved to Cocoa Beach where he was offered a job in the newly acquired facility of Life Sciences at NASA. Norman spent four decades working on NASA contracts until his retirement.
In November of 1997, Norman lost his wife Barbara, who had been battling cancer for many years.
In December of 2001, Norman married a friend, Constance. Together they traveled the country in their RV, enjoying national parks, bird watching, and a quiet retirement.
Norman is survived by his wife Constance, his sister Dianne, his son James, and grandchildren, Kayla and Mark.
A gathering of friends and family for Norman will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Life Event Center at Florida Memorial Garden, followed by a celebration of life at 3:00 PM.
