Pamela F. Johnson

Pamela F. Johnson, 62, of Melbourne, FL passed away at home after a lengthy illness Monday, May 6, 2019. Born in Avon Park, FL, she came to Brevard County in 1963 from Lakeland, FL. A 1975 graduate of Eau Gallie High School, Pam worked over 25 years for Publix Supermarkets in Brevard County before becoming a Business Office Manager for 12 years in a local Assisted Living Facility. Ms. Johnson was a member of Eau Gallie First Baptist Church where she was active in the B.Y.K.O.T.A. Sunday School class. She lived the motto of her Sunday School class: “Be ye kind, one to another.”

Pamela was preceded in death by her mother, Faye W. Johnson (1996) and father, J. W. Johnson (2018). She is survived by her brother, Rev. Jake Johnson (Katee) of Bryson City, NC and two beloved nephews, Justin Johnson of Atlanta, GA and Joshua Johnson of Aspen, CO. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In her spare time, Pam was an avid puzzle maker, often completing 500-1000 piece puzzles in less than a week. Since her illness, she framed many of her puzzles as a legacy for her family members.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 at the Life Event Center of Florida Memorial Gardens, US 1, Rockledge, FL. Prior to the service, a visitation will be held from 3-4pm. A private burial will follow on Saturday at the Florida Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
