Patricia A. Collins

Patricia Ann (Dodd) Collins, 81, born December 25, 1935 in Rome Georgia, and raised in Gadsden, Alabama, went to be with the Lord on Saturday June 24th, 2017. During her 58 years as a resident of Satellite Beach she touched many lives.

She was a Charter Member of the First Baptist Church of Satellite Beach. Most recently she has been a member of South Patrick Baptist Church. She was blessed with the “Gift of Helps” always helping the family, church family and neighbors by supporting the church youth groups, choirs, the school Marching Band and driving neighbors to appointments along with other errands. She also coordinated the Prayer Warriors at SPBC.

Pat was an Avon Representative for 20 years, selling to the neighborhood and won several Presidents’ Club Albee Awards.

She was a loving and faithful wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She is preceded by her husband of 50 years, Johnnie T. Collins, her mother Bernice Dodd and her father Glover Dodd.

Pat is survived by her loving family, Linda (Ted) Mulholland, Carol (John) McCabe, Janet (Laurie Snyder) Collins, Dianna (Roger) Eliasson; seven grandchildren, Alisha, Daniel, and Janelle McCabe, Jerusha (David) Phillips, Brett, Kyle and Jared Eliasson. She also leaves behind a brother, Marion Dodd and a sister, Donna Johnson.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm Friday, June 30, 2017, with services following at 2 pm, at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL. Interment will be at Florida Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in the memory of Pat Collins to the South Patrick Baptist Church, 343 South Patrick Drive, Satellite Beach, FL 32937.
