Patricia Ann Matarazzo

Patricia was born in Orange, New Jersey, to Angelina and Patsy LaSapio on March 6, 1941. She attended Hanover Park High School in East Hanover, NJ, where she met and later married her high school sweetheart, Alphonse Matarazzo Sr., on October 9, 1960.

She was the oldest of three, survived by sister Rosalie Andersen and brother Timothy LaSapio.

Patricia is also survived by her son Alphonse Matarazzo Jr. of Dunnellon, FL, son David Matarazzo of Grant, FL and daughter Cynthia Marrs of Melbourne, FL.; 4 grandchildren, Alphonse III, Nicholas, Claudia, and Kevin Jr; and 2 great grandchildren, Andrew and Alina.

In 1978 Patricia and Alphonse moved the family to Melbourne, Florida where they have resided since. Over her lifetime, always serving others, Patricia was a waitress, business owner, Sunday school teacher, homemaker, and a mom to many, she loved cooking, music, flowers, and spending time with her family. We are forever grateful and blessed, she will be missed and always in our hearts.

A graveside service and blessing will be held on May 22, 2026, at Florida Memorial, 5950 S US Hwy 1, Rockledge, FL, 11am-12pm. Immediately following the family will receive friends to celebrate Patricia’s life at the Italian American Club, 1471 Cypress Ave., Melbourne.
