

Phyllis Langevin Fuller, 88, passed away peacefully into our Lord's hands on Thursday, September 9, 2010. Phyllis was born in Lowell, MA to Ruth Upton Langevin and George Felix Langevin. She attended Rogers Hall High School and Westbrook Junior College (now the University of New England) in Westbrook, ME. Upon graduating, she worked as a medical assistant before marrying the love of her life, Lt. JG Samuel Lloyd Fuller in April of 1944. The couple and their young daughter, Sandra, moved to Wilmington, DE in 1955, when Sam joined the Dupont Corporation. Sam passed away in 1962. Phyllis remained in Wilmington until 1972, and then moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL to be with her mother, Ruth. She was active in the Garden Club, played bridge with friends, and volunteered at Las Olas Hospital. Phyllis also enjoyed traveling, and made many memorable trips throughout Europe, Japan, and the US. She moved to Indian River Estates in Vero Beach, FL in 1993, where she had lived for the past 17 years. Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Sandra Fuller Ludwig (Gerald) of Melbourne, FL; sisters, Eleanor Mullen and Betty Melville of Pompano Beach, FL; two grandchildren, Carrie Ann Adams (Marshall) of Vero Beach, FL, and Chris Euston (Carmen) of Apopka, FL; and four great-grandchildren, Emily Philpot, Jack Philpot, Shannon Euston and Jake Euston. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 11 at 11 a.m. at Florida Memorial Funeral Home chapel in Rockledge. Interment will be at Gracelawn Memorial Cemetery in Wilmington, DE. In lieu of flowers, please consider honoring Phyllis with a donation in her memory to Indian River Estates who were wonderful to her during her 17 years there.
