He was the parent of two boys, Karl Fox, Orlando and Kurt Fox of Attapulgus, Georgia. In addition to two grandchildren Thomas and Wesley also of Georgia. Wes is survived by his older brother, Bruce Fox of Orlando.
After graduating from Cocoa High School, Wes joined the US Navy and spent 10 years serving in Germany, Puerto Rico and the Philippines. After being discharged, Wes spent a short time in Arizona working in Animal Control. He then returned to Titusville working at Brevard County FPL plant, a short time on a deep sea shrimp boat, and with the City of Cape Canaveral until his retirement.
Wes was a passionate fisherman whether it be surf, fresh or saltwater. Enjoyed fishing from a kayak which gave him access to solitude. When not fishing, he took up the hobby of metal detecting. He took every opportunity to be outside where he was most content.
Wes has requested to be cremated and will be inurned next to his father at Florida Memorial Gardens. He did not want a viewing or service. His wish was that his acquaintances would have positive memories of their relationships.
