Reba grew up in MacArthur, West Virginia where she married Buddy at the age of 15.
They moved to New Jersey where Buddy was stationed in the Navy. After his
honorable discharge in 1959, they returned to Beckley, West Virginia where their
daughters Linda and Terry were born. Buddy’s job at A&P as Assistant Manager led
him to a position in Florida and eventually they moved to Melbourne. Reba’s jobs
included driving a school bus for Brevard County, and a quality control inspector for two
different electronic companies.
In 1976 they visited Calvary Baptist Church where Al Jones was pastor. On Father’s
Day Reba accepted Christ as her Savior along with her family and was baptized that
evening. Reba was an active member involved in choir, women’s ministry, youth and
hospitality.
Her daughters went to Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO where they met their
husbands. Because of their parents' Godly influences both families are actively involved
in ministry.
After retirement in 2004 Reba and Buddy followed Terry and Homer to Texas. Reba
quickly became involved at Holly Springs Baptist Church and in the Garrison community
until her health started to decline. The families returned to Florida in 2018.
Everyone who knew Reba felt loved through her hugs and kind words. She would
want you to know Jesus, her Loving Savior, who changed her life and can do the same
for you.
