He was born in San Antonio, Texas, on April 22, 1954, and the family relocated to Brevard County in 1964. In the late 1970’s, Rick moved to North Carolina, where he remained until his health prompted him to return to the family home in Satellite Beach, FL, in 2018.
Rick was predeceased by brother, Terrance Lee Borton, and is survived by brother, Brian Lynn Borton (Melbourne, FL) and sister, Victoria Anne Borton (Satellite Beach, FL), along with Brian’s children Keliana Yvonne Borton (niece) and Marcus Gregory Borton (nephew). Florida Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. No public services will be held.
